Bear brought 5 mice and one large gopher. 7 bonding visits, 4 flyabouts. Noelle was fed bits of a mousie, and no confirmed Pips or PeepsNight synopsis: A three minute flyabout around 6:15, and the first visit of the night from Bear at 6:36 for a good morning Kiss, no treat. As Bear flew off to begin the night's hunting, Willow followed for another 2 minute flyabout, to wish her Bear good hunting ! Bear returned 5 more times through the evening, and Willow continued to groom and preen him with love and affection, rewarding each delicious treat.
Noelle was fed tidbits of mousie, and both Noelle and Sweet Peeps were active, vocal and lively through the wee hours of the morning. Willow rests comfortably today with a full pantry.
We are on Hatch Watch for egglet #3, possibly Wednesday ! Cynthia1957 noted Willow's last flyabout of the evening, as well as the "pecking and scratching" preparation for Egg # 3 !Stay tuned.!
