Hundon returns at 5:45 and notes:

Jill was in chat and there was discussion that two were out; I let them know that in fact three had been out at 5 am;  We saw Noelle (?) go back in at 6:04. We assumed it was Noelle as she seemed to know where she was going.  The other two (Sweet Peeps and Baby Bear?) are out for the day- didn't make it back to the box before daylight. Jill could see them asleep from bathroom window.. Pictures will be taken later.

Fledge Reports:
Sweet Peeps   finally comes out (at least we assume/think SP)-- but not far on her very first time, as she compromises and only comes out as far as to stand on the little ledge right below the door.  In picture you can barely see her feet on the ledge, and the two little light areas just above are her "fuzz pantaloons".  The fuzz also could indicate this might be a younger one, perhaps Baby Bear.  Owlet was there from 1:09am to about 1:49am.

8:23 - Bear w/treat; 8:37 Willow w/treat; 9:47 Bear w/treat; 10:04 Bear w/treat, 11:50 treat; 12:46 Bear w/treat delivered over Noelle's head; 12:51 Bear w/treat; 12:53 In & out w/treat, gave treat to Noelle
At 10:50 PM there was an owl deeting loudly to come help!  -
Noelle went out at 12:21 a.m. (Noelle still out when Coulee departed.)

Sweet Peeps (?) came out on the ledge at 1:07
Windy conditions this evening !

**Happy Birthday Noelle 60 Days Young!  Happy Birthday Sparrow 50 Days young!***

It's Time
Noelle will fledge first; it is her birthright.
They'll go right down the line, it will be such a sight.
The chatters will cheer and shout with delight,
But also shed tears as they watch night after night.
Sweet Peeps will be next, she is second by one.
She looks out the door, knows what needs to be done.
And, waiting his turn, he is third in the line,
Is Baby Bear who knows he'll be fledging just fine.
Then Brumby, then Piper, then Sparrow, then Elf,
Who turns back for one look -- but he is sure of himself.
They fledge one by one, stepping out through the door
To leave room for others who will need the box more.
And Willow and Bear, who have watched them each night,
See each owlet change to an owl in mid-flight.
The chatters breathe deeply, look 'round with a sigh,
But know that the owlets should take to the sky.
And though they are sad that the owls did depart,
A part of each owlet remains in each heart.
