Jill's favorite Willow and Bear Owlet video!
Couleedam has spent so many hours watching she based hers on face recognition, shapes, fuzz amounts, etc.
Lone based his analysis by reducing the picture, individual analyzing facial size, and fuzz on head. Baby Bear and Brumby are the "closest" and might have the highest degree of uncertainty.
Applause to Lonestar and Couleedam for this amazing identification picture and their time and devotion to loving owls!

Interesting observations from Jill and Gary: ( possible C2 is on the way!)
"Last night Gary and I witnessed the oddest thing: Bear and Willow were in tree next door (Bear constantly chittering). It wasn’t even dark yet. Out of nowhere another owl comes, lands in pine tree (owlbox tree) and chitters…. Obviously wasn’t a threat to bear and willow- no reaction! What do YOU think chatters? Is the third owl the returning baby, or a random Female looking for a Hubby? Are we seeing the signs of a Clutch2 in the box for Willow and Bear- great discussions for chat!
The owls fly off after a minute. Then Bear spends most of the night non- stop chittering in the palm tree next door… while Willow did those long drawn out screeches in the Pine tree??? What are they doing? They are acting exactly like they did when they started mating…. About 1-2 months before they moved into our box!
When Gary and I go outside close to dusk, we are getting some real shows! Twice now, this other owl has shown up and landed in the pine tree. Two guesses….. either it’s last year’s baby OR 2) it heard Bear’s chittering and thought he was marriage material?"

Sometime on March 25-26, after owlet Austin's hatch, Carlos put himself up to the challenge of 24/7 recording of his ustream feed. As they say, the rest is (YouTube) history! (And let's not forget Austin (the grandson) who edited all those videos.) For those of us who missed all four hatchings live, at least we got to see Wesley's hatch on video! You can see it again here:
***** Happy Birthday, Wesley!! !******
